The design and construction is done by Mike Fina at
Island Nautical in St. Petersburg, FL.
Jib track is installed on top of the cabin coming. On this track run batten cars with pins that can fix the cars at one spot (like the block for jib sheets on a sloop). The ability to move the batten cars allows the cover to be telescoped forward.

Looks good Doug, ask them to hold that design, I will need one come spring. I will pick up a kit at the MessAbout .
ReplyDeleteNice! Are those batten cars custom, or stock and then bent to accomodate the batten curve?
ReplyDeleteSorry to be away for so long. The batten cars are stock and the battens flex and find their curve. They were cut, then the pattern for the fabric was made.
